Your customers are on social media, and they often look at your page before contacting you. An empty page, or one abandoned for months, gives a poor impression. But posting regularly takes time, and many business owners do not have it.
This is where a community manager comes in. Here is what they actually do, what you can expect and what it costs.
What a community manager does
They define an editorial line: which topics, what tone, which networks, which audience. They then prepare a posting calendar that you approve in advance.
They create the content: text, visuals, short videos, stories. They post at the right times, reply to comments and messages, and moderate conversations.
Finally, they analyse the results every month: reach, followers, interactions, visits to your website, contact requests. And they adjust the strategy based on what works.
What results to expect
Let's be honest: social media will not fill your order book in two weeks. The first measurable effects usually appear after about three months of regular posting.
The most common benefits: a more professional image, a community that knows you, customers who feel reassured before calling, and steady traffic to your website. To speed things up, sponsored campaigns can be added, with an advertising budget on top.
Which networks to choose
There is no need to be everywhere. Instagram and Facebook suit shops, restaurants, fashion and tourism well. LinkedIn is essential when selling to other businesses. TikTok reaches a younger audience with short videos.
One or two well-run networks are better than five abandoned accounts.
How much it costs
The price depends on the number of networks, the number of posts per month and the type of content (a video takes more work than a visual).
As an example, our plans start at €390 a month for one network, 8 posts with visuals included, comment moderation and a monthly report. At €790 a month, we manage two networks, 16 posts, stories and short formats, and private messages. The budget for sponsored campaigns is always extra, paid directly to the social network.
Do it yourself or delegate?
If you enjoy communicating and can spend a few hours a week on it, you can start on your own with a simple calendar and tools such as Canva. If you lack time or ideas, or if your posts get no results, delegating pays off: you save time and benefit from a proven method.
Our plans have no commitment: you can try for a few months and judge on the results.
